Positive: The apartment’s central location is ideal for sightseeing in Madrid — within easy reach of major attractions and several metro stations, with excellent restaurants and bakeries nearby. The space is thoughtfully designed; it’s more like a large studio than a one-bedroom, but it’s very spacious and well equipped for a week’s stay. The compact kitchen has everything needed for breakfast or dinner. As expected in the city center, the streets can be noisy, but the AC works well and mitigates it. One moment that bothered our stay was the shared entry door for the three-apartment corridor, which shuts very loudly. You can hear neighbors coming and going at all hours (e.g., late at night). A soft-close/door closer would greatly improve this ))) The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was good, and the price was reasonable. I would certainly recommend this place for a stay in Madrid.
