Positive: Fantastic location in the heart of town, with an easy walk to shops and beaches. Great space, especially the open plan kitchen and lounge. The shower in the en-suite was wonderful, and the beds were very comfortable.
Negative: Quite dirty in places. The windows only opened a couple of inches, which was awful in the heatwave. The main bedroom and kitchen windows could not be opened. The outside front door is rotting, and the key safe was not marked correctly. The key for the apartment was rusty, and it was very difficult to unlock. We left the fire extinguisher behind the apartment door each night for security, as it did not feel safe. One morning, we woke up to find it had moved, so someone had tried to enter in the night and pushed it back from the door. Very worrying. Additionally, the blind in the en-suite did not close fully, so we had to hang a towel up for privacy.
Summary: Fabulous apartment in a great location, but safety is a concern
