Positive: the location was fantastic for the beach and all the cafes and restaurants and shops a short distance away . everyone tried to help us even though we had little french language to speak. the whole vibe for the area was relaxed . now we know where every thing is we would enjoy it even more.
Negative: it was a bit of a shock when we first arrived as the whole building was under scaffolding and workmen everywhere .no one had warned us of any work going on and it looked like the work was on the inside as well . we asked a few of the workmen if we were in the right place and they weren't sure but they helped us by ringing the hosts number for us. eventually we got sorted and got in. unfortunately first impressions weren't too good because everywhere smelt musty and dark . couldn't open all the windows as it looks like some had been painted shut.which was a pity because the one that did open it was lovely to feel the breeze and fresh air . the kitchen was usable but needed a good sort out and unfortunately quite a few of the bowls and plates were chipped (still usable). in the bathroom the only thing was it needed the shower head to be fixed onto the wall. it felt like the place was opened in a rush for the start of the season. could be wrong ???
Summary: we had a wonderful time once all the setbacks got sorted
