Summary: One of the best ways to meet local people is to stay in a place like this. The owner was very friendly and helpful, collecting us from and taking us back to the station. The property was very clean and comfortable and located in a residential area. There was a go-kart centre opposite but not an issue. Breakfast was interesting and a mixture of local and western dishes served at the time of your choosing. No evening meal available so a short walk into the local village. Found a Vietnamese canteen type eatery. No English but photos of dishes on the wall - authentic food, tasty and amazing value for money!!! Note that many places are closed by 2000 hrs at the latest especially out of peak summer.
