Situated on the outskirts of the village of Bosham, Bosham Lodge Barn has everything you could wish for a holiday away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Set in idyllic countryside close to Chichester, the barn has panoramic views overlooking fields and the harbour.
Bosham Lodge Barn is set over two floors with your kitchen and extra living space on the first floor making good use of the spectacular views. On the ground floor there is a permanent day bed (with a comfortable 5 foot sprung mattress) which can be curtained off to separate it from the living room. There is a lovely seating area leading onto a pretty patio and side garden. You can also find a modern shower room and toilet on this floor.
On the first floor there is a fully equipped luxury kitchen and dining area where you can enjoy wonderful views from every aspect of the room.
Further along the first floor is the master bedroom which is beautifully designed with a lovely roll top bath as an added centre piece.
The barn offers the best of both worlds with views of the sea to the south and the downs in the north.
From the barn you can easily walk to the village where you will find Bosham Walk, a veritable Aladdin's cave of wonders created by local artists. The picturesque Anchor Bleu pub is on the waterfront and has a nice menu, (though booking is advisable). There are two other pubs located in Bosham – The White Swan or the Berkeley Arms. There is a fish & chip shop and an Indian Restaurant near the Co-Op on Station Road, just a few minutes walk away.
The train station is about 7 minutes walk away which is on the London Victoria line and buses run along the road to Portsmouth, Chichester and Brighton.
If you want to venture a little further afield for a great day out, you can visit nearby Portsmouth Historic Dockyard or The Weald and Downland Museum, home of BBC's The Repair Shop. Both places are great fun for any age group. There is outlet shopping, cinema complex and bowling at Gunwharf Quays, which you can reach easily by car or train from Bosham. For something a little different, you can book seal watching boat trips from Hayling Island or hire kayaks from Emsworth Marina.
Access to the races and Goodwood Motor Circuit is easy from Bosham, making Elm lodge the perfect place to stay when you are attending The Festival of Speed, Glorious Goodwood, or The Revival.
