Summary: The cabin and forest was very pretty but unfortunately there was a big lack of communication, even though the staff was nice. There was a problem with our breakfast and there was no solution offered that day. Similarly we found a dead mouse on a trap in the cabin but they only came to remove it 3 hours after they received our message, which is uncomfortable given that it was 2 meters next to the stove and eating area. There is no internet or phone reception in the cabins and the reception desk is 8 minutes walking through the forest and up the road, but even if you go to the reception yourself, there is no one there until 3pm. Most of the issues would have been avoided if they were more transparent about the lack of vegan options (even though we asked twice), the mouse, the lack of means of communication with the staff, and other things we found out too late (like the restaurant not opening the second day we were there). Because we could have better prepared for it beforehand, since there are not many food options around the area itself. We usually love staying in cabins in nature but we can’t say we would recommend this one unless you adjust your expectations and come well prepared for any eventuality.
