Positive: We have had the best time in Castelmola and were so lucky to stay at Casa Colapesce. The view from the bedroom balcony alone is to die for; waking up looking over the Etna will probably never get tiresome. The apartment is convenient and spacious. Castelmola is the most adorable town atop a mountain. The views are amazing, the people friendly, the reastaurants cozy and serving good food. The walk to Taormina was delightful, but you do have to like walking down and up the hill (approximately 35 minutes to go down and 45 minutes to go up, most of the way are stairs). Thank you Giuseppe, for being a marvellous host and Daniela for kindly helping us out during our stay. We would absolutely stay here again!
