Curlew House is perfectly situated for exploring the town of Rye, everything literally on your doorstep.
You enter the cottage into a small hallway with stairs leading up to the bedrooms and a door leading to the open plan living area. There is a fully fitted kitchen to the front of the property, with everything you could possibly need during your stay, including microwave and washing machine. There is a dining area with table and chairs to comfortably seat four. The lounge area has a sofa and arm chair with plenty of cushions and throws to make this a cosy spot to relax. There is a Smart TV & wifi available, for planning your days out or to use whilst snuggling up on cold evenings after a day exploring. Just off the lounge is a small snug, perfect for those quiet moments or for settling down with a good book. French doors lead to an enclosed terrace with outside table and chairs for alfresco dining, a morning brew or a glass of wine in the evening.

The first floor has a double bedroom to the rear and has been furnished with good quality linen, bed sides lamps and comfy cushions. There is a private balcony with table and chairs and the perfect spot for an alfresco breakfast, a delightful extra. The large family bathroom, has a separate shower cubicle, bath, hand basin and WC. The second floor has a further double bedroom which has been beautifully finished with comfort in mind. All bedrooms have full length mirrors and there is a hairdryer provided, so one less thing to pack.

For those travelling with young children, there is a travel cot & high chair available on request. Although the cottage is family friendly we do ask that guests with young children take particular care when exiting the property, as there is only a narrow path in front of the cottage and the road is busy.

As is commonplace in Rye, the cottage does not come with parking but you are only five minutes from the nearest council car park and a gentle ten minute stroll from free on road parking.
