Positive: This cottage is set in beautiful countryside and off the beaten track, although only a few miles from Hay-on-Wye. The owners were very, very welcoming, and when we had a couple of questions, they helped us straight away. The accommodation itself was very comfortable and had everything that we needed for our stay. The kitchen even had an air-fryer, which I've never seen before in a holiday let, although we didn't use it. It showed the attention to detail, which makes a place a home from home.

Negative: The cooker seemed to be slightly lacking in power and would take a while for the water to reach the boil. We just allowed longer the next time.
