Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The property was great for our large party of 14 and had plenty of bedroom and lounging space. The beds were very comfortable and the linen was clean. There was a lot of kitchen equipment, everything we needed. We loved the sauna and used it each day. The host was very good, I phoned a couple of times and she answered straight away.

Negative: We knew what to expect from previous reviews as the house is generally shabby but it suited our needs as a party of friends travelling for a running race, lots of us coming and going at separate times. But the level of cleanliness wasn't very high - dirty oven and the kitchen bin and light pull cords definitely need to be changed. There are three bathrooms, two with showers which were just ok (we had to clear the drain in one of them) but the toilet seats in both these bathrooms were broken.

Summary: Great for a large party of friends, more of a hostel type accommodation. Would stay again.
