Positive: Access was well-described and unproblematic. The hosts were charming and helpful while the guest-card for free entry to local facilities proved to be most useful. The apartment was homely, well-equipped and enjoyed splendid views of the mountainscapes around. The rooms were large and well-furnished, making for a most enjoyable stay. Local restaurants in Windischgarsten were within easy-walking distance. There are lovely walks around Windischgarsten that are well-signposted as well as a delightful local museum of life and customs in the town over the decades. The pleasant and serene Gleinkersee is close by and the Hinterstode chair-lift and panoramic drive are not far away either. Great location! Many thanks to our hosts!
