Positive: The host, a very kind lady who lives downstairs, welcomed us one day with delicious bananas from her own plantation and a bottle of wine – such a thoughtful gesture that made us feel truly welcome. The location is absolutely beautiful, with a breathtaking view over the ocean and the banana plantations. We enjoyed wonderful sunsets every evening and relaxed in the jacuzzi while admiring the scenery in total peace and quiet. The beds are very comfortable, everything was spotless clean, and the kitchen is fully equipped, including a coffee machine – which made our stay extra comfortable. It’s true that the road to the house is a bit steep (like most roads in Madeira), but it’s definitely worth it for the stunning view that awaits you. If we ever come back to Madeira (and we surely will!), we would definitely choose this place again! 🌺🤍
