Positive: The flat had everything we needed….. and more. The starter pack was greatly appreciated, although we didn’t use it! It was greatly value for money compared to a single hotel room for a similar price, over the Christmas period. We also really appreciated the peace and quiet of the area and that it had a parking space!
Negative: It was a struggle to get a suitcase up the 2nd flight of stairs, as it is really narrow! (Much easier on the way down!!😂) We would have appreciated some warmth in the flat when we arrived, having been asked for our arrival time - it was absolutely Baltic on arrival, with 2 windows left open. Thankfully it did warm up quite quickly. We were surprised to be expected to take our own rubbish down, in a serviced apartment…..!
Summary: This was a fabulous find on the outskirts of Reading - we would highly recommend it!
