The location, nestling between the Château Royal and the river is hard to beat. Dine on the terrace and enjoy the magnificent sunsets over the Loire! Self-contained and independent, the apartment is situated on the second floor of a 16th century town house. Everything is prepared ready for your arrival - beds are made up, fluffy white towels and toiletries are provided and a starter pack of essential groceries is included.
The kitchen is fully equipped with large fridge-freezer, electric hob, eye-level oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. One bedroom with king size bed and en-suite shower room and the second with twin beds and shower room alongside. Modern fittings have been combined with the old existing features to provide a striking yet homely feel. There is free wi-fi throughout the property, along with television & DVD player.
The Royal Château, the Clos Lucé and Château Gaillard are all within easy walking distance, while the town offers the perfect base for visiting the Chateaux of the Loire and local vineyards. It's difficult to find a better base, as Amboise is perfectly situated in the very heart of the Loire Valley. The main jewels are all within easy striking distance - Château de Chenonceau, Chambord, Villandry and Chaumont are all nearby. Amboise is also on the Loire à Vélo cycle route which provides fantastic opportunities for traffic-free cycling in the area.
