Summary: A very lovely house. Spacious and clean with everything needed besides a few dish cloths in the kitchen which could’ve been useful for wiping down the sides. We’re usually not this fussy, but considering everything else was there, it felt odd that these were left out. Comfortable furnishings throughout and the decor was beautiful. The sauna itself was an added bonus. One of us is disabled and usually has no issues going upstairs however both bannisters were VERY rickety and contributed towards feeling anxious while climbing. Perhaps new bannisters or an extra rail could be put in for future guests. The wooden floorboards were extremely noisy whilst being walked across and with the windows being single panes of glass (not double glazed), the street was also incredibly noisy both in the day and evening, especially whilst trying to sleep. I’m very aware that these features are old and in keeping with the property itself, but overall they were quite an issue since I was working from home whilst away. If noise doesn’t bother you, then this is the perfect place to stay.
