Summary: I could find no instructions for working the tv (tried to get it play BBC1, and all it would do is tell me "no information available") or the cooker (my best guess was that the circle with the dot should have made the ring work, but it didn't seem to), so had to make do with just the microwave. I sent an email to the property manager after my first night there, but never got a response. That being said, the property met my basic requirements of somewhere to stay overnight while my bathroom was being rebuilt, and the price was excellent.
