Positive: Nicely decorated and equipped little cottage. The kitchen was well equipped and there was a small welcome pack. It's a great space, and quite roomy for 4 people over a weekend. It's also very close to one of the park and ride to go into York. You definitely need a car though.
Negative: The property is advertised on Booking but is managed by another party. That led to a lot of emails at the time of booking, and made it hard to find information about the property. And with all of this, we still had to contact the owners directly for check-in instructions. Similarly, the check out instructions weren't clear and we noticed the need to remove the bed linen last minute as it was only on the document on the table. And as there is a management company, that was not expected.
