Positive: The house was better in real life than the pics which was a rare and pleasant surprise. It was so well stocked with everything it felt like a home away from home. Very comfortable. All creature comforts and lots of thoughtful touches. Close to the cafe down the road and the beach and a quick drive into Gerringong and also close to Berry. It was a shame we couldn’t stay longer.
Negative: This might not be an issue in the warmer months when the house is opened up and aired out, but the downstairs had a slight dampness smell. I am super sensitive to moisture smells and noticed it straight away. Not overpowering enough to ruin the stay or anything but the owners might want to consider ways to counteract that.
Summary: Gorgeous Riverleigh - an unexpected delight on the beautiful south coast.
