Positive: I am not exaggerating when I say that every single thing about this experience exceeded our expectations. We visited Japan for over two weeks, and this was by far and away the best thing we did. The entire staff (family) were wonderful. I've never felt more immersed in any location before. It was so wonderful that I hope to some day learn Japanese so that I can go back and visit and get even more out of the experience. The food was wonderful, unique, and such a luxurious, yet homey, meal. The tour was a once in a lifetime opportunity - don't miss it!

Summary: If you're on the fence at all about booking at Shiroyamakan, don't be - just Shirakawa-GO! :)
