Finest Retreats are pleased to offer The Gardener’s Cottage at Holyford Farm, part of a converted Victorian coach house building suitable for up to two guests.
Situated in the peaceful location of Colyford in East Devon, the characterful cottage is fully equipped for a relaxing self-catered stay. The well-equipped downstairs kitchen/dining area also has a small two-seater leather sofa and TV, to relax in front of the wood burning stove. The home has beautiful character features such as exposed stone walls, a slate tile floor, and there is a dining table and chairs for an evening meal in.
The bedroom has a king-size bed, a large built-in wardrobe and chest-of-drawers, plus a wall-mounted Sony TV. The en-suite bathroom comprises a bath with mixer shower taps, an over bath electric shower, wash basin and towel rail. The separate toilet with a small basin is downstairs.
Outside you can take in the sound of the nearby stream, waterfall and birdsong on your own private patio area with bistro table and chair set for al fresco dining. The cottage is located opposite the main farmhouse (the owners live on site). Guests can also meet and greet the friendly flock of Grey Face Dartmoor sheep.
Situated within a mile of the local pub, less than two miles to the closest beach at Seaton. A perfect location to explore the Jurassic Coast in both East Devon and West Dorset. Close to both Lyme Regis, Beer and Branscombe and just over 20 miles to Exeter.
Please note dogs are welcome but must remain on leads in communal areas while on the farmland and are not permitted upstairs in the property. We have an additional cottage on site which can accommodate a further four guests, and can be booked under The Coach House at Holyford Farm.
