Positive: Location very nice, lovely to look out and see the sea. The kitchen was well equipped and we had everything we needed to self cater. Nice ‘seaside’ touches to the decor. The welsh cakes and milk were very welcome. Bed very comfortable.
Negative: Electricity was not included in the rental price and as it was cold at night we had to use the electric radiators and our bill for the electricity was over £50 which made the holiday a bit more expensive than we were expecting. There is no freezer or ice box in the fridge. As we were self catering it meant we could not buy any frozen food to cook, or ice cream which would have been nice, during our week. The shower cubicle could do with a good clean, the sealant and plug hole were quite black and not very nice. Not sure how often the cottage is checked by the owners. Otherwise clean.
Summary: Really enjoyed the holiday despite the negatives. Went home very relaxed.
