The Tack Room is located on the ground floor, underneath the Saddlery. This one bedroom suite is perfect for guests enjoying a romantic escape or on a last minute getaway to the country. This barn benefits from under-floor heating and porcelain tiled floor, this keeps The Tack Room cosy during the winter months and cool during the summer.
Original Stone walls retain the character of the building, whilst modern facilities are used throughout. The Tack Room is an open-plan living space, equipped with LCD TV and an iPod docking station along with free Wi-Fi. Summary: Nice property itself. However rooms need a good cleaning. Restaurant was crowded and mediocre with slow service. (I think that was more an issue of staffing). I messaged the property through VRBO several times (about checkin procedures) with NO response. Come to find out it’s not an individual home or unit, but a mini hotel. Would have been peace of mind had we known. When traveling from overseas, and not knowing area, you are hoping you indeed have the booked accommodations!
