The View, 19a Station Street, is a large well appointed, 3 bedroom town centre property with lots of character and period features. A bright and airy maisonette, it sleeps 6 in 3 king size bedrooms. It is an ideal location for friends or family groups that want to be close to the amenities of the town centre and the heart of keswick. With the entrance on the ground floor, the accommodation is mainly set on the first and second floor of the building. It has a large lounge, fully equipped kitchen and family bathroom on the first floor and family shower room on the second floor.
There is no parking at the property although on street parking is available nearby and the owner provides access to one parking permit for Otley Road car park which is a 3 minute walk away.
Layout
The main entrance is at the back of the building. The front door leads to an entrance hall with coat and shoe storage with stairs leading up to the first floor living area. The staircase is lit by a wonderful arched window with views towards Skiddaw . There is a super chandelier in the hall which fits perfectly with the coving and original feature plasterwork.
The spacious first floor has a large living room that overlooks Station Street. It has a with wall mounted Smart TV, coffee table and two extensive sofas that will comfortably fit all guests. The well equipped kitchen has electric oven and hob, American style fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. The large hall doubles as a dining space, seating 6.
The first king size bedroom is also on the first floor and has double aspect windows . There is also a large modern family bathroom with L shaped bath with shower over.
On the second floor, there are two further king size bedrooms. Both feature original ceiling beams and the larger one has views towards the Skiddaw range. There is an additional family shower room on this floor.
There is full gas central heating and constant hot water supply by combi boiler.
All linens and towels are provided and a hair dryer is available for guests use.
Cot and highchair are available on request.
Getting there
• Travelling west towards Keswick from Penrith on the A66 take the first turning left signed to Keswick.
• Turn right at the junction with the A591 from Ambleside and head downhill past the Twa Dogs public house and continue on. As the road bends to the right, before the pedestrian crossing and the traffic lights, turn left into Station Street. (main shopping street).
• Turn right down the small lane (Standish Street), just after the Thai restaurant on the right hand side.
• The View, 19a station Street is immediately on your left hand side, behind the wooden gates and is accessed from the back of the building, behind the offices of PF&K estate agents.
• You can park in the lane for a short period to unload your car.
• The property has a white front door.

General Statement
The View is a traditional town centre property. It is a maisonette situated above a ground floor office space. The main access to the property is at the rear and it extends over three floors. The main accommodation is on first and second floors - guests need to be able to manage stairs as there are no ground floor bedroom or toilet facilities.
• All skirting boards are white contrasting with the predominantly cream walls and beige carpets or flooring.
• All bedrooms have lights beside the beds as well as main lights, most sockets are below 70cm height.
• The property is totally non smoking.
• All rooms have thermostatically controlled radiators which can also be regulated by individual radiator valves.
• All electrical equipment is PAT tested annually for safety.
• Dogs are not accepted.
• Mobile coverage is generally good for any service.
• There is a bus stop approx. 100 metres away. The nearest railway station is Penrith some 18 miles away. There is a regular bus service to Keswick.
• Shops in the town centre are approximately a 1 minute walk away – the theatre and lake are a further 10 minutes walk. Car hire and taxis are available in the town.
• There are RADAR toilets in the town in Central Car Park at bell Close (3 minute walk) and at Lakeside by the Theatre by the Lake.

Long term parking is available at the town centre car parks at Otley Road (3 minute walk away) or Central Car Park (4 minutes away). 24 hour or weekly permits can be purchased from Allerdale Council or via the pay and display machines.
