Negative: We have stayed in this cottage for years under two previous managements. We were very disappointed with the kitchen upgrade. Instead of the lovely table with 8 chairs and a dresser with the dishes there was a huge marble top island. It was inconvenient for our family to sit together with only 4 stools and 5 of us. The elders could not easily sit on on stools or get up on them. Dishes were difficult to find where with the former dresser they were handy.
Summary: pleasant experience in a beautiful setting but inconvenient kitchen.
