Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Great location, near to loads of wonderful places to see , dog friendly .( just keep on a lead as farm animals about) Very comfortable mattress on the bed , lovely open fire . The chickens are very friendly and love a bit of bread in the mornings, great relaxed feeling. Cozy cottage. Dog treats ,shampoo,conditioner,body wash and coffee,tea,milk sachets provided which was great .

Negative: Though the property is clean , there were a few cobwebs around the place . But didn’t affect our stay . ( Some were old and some new with spiders inside ,hubby did a great job of removing them ) Thought from the photos more space to walk the dog , but areas shown ,the water and the sitting bench were cordoned off so could not sit or be in that area. The four poster bed needs a bit of attention, as the top is broken on all four corners and held together precariously. But the mattress was extremely comfortable. Nobody to greet us , we didn’t see anyone the whole hoilday to make sure things were ok , but there is a number to ring if there is a problem , was just going on other reviews that said they had been great hosts.
