Sleeping 5 comfortably, this beautifully designed property is situated in the heart of the community of Stockbridge. This flat enjoys a lovely bright sitting room, newly renovated kitchen and separate dining area. The property has one large double room, a smaller double room and a front facing bedroom with a double and a day bed.
The property is on a quiet street on the water of Leith, yet in the heart of the city. With all the main attractions within walking distance Edinburgh accommodation doesn't get much better than this! Stockbridge has something of a village atmosphere about it, although it is only a ten to fifteen minute walk from Edinburgh city centre. It is alongside the Water of Leith one of the main rivers running through Edinburgh. The area has a great selection of delis, shops, restaurants, cafes, and pubs.
Inverleith Park is the nearest park in the area, a large expanse of green only a 5 minute walk, if that from the door. Also the Botanic Gardens are extremely close too, perhaps a 10 min walk. There are also beautiful walks along the river. It really is a fantastic location for getting about too, there is a main bus route at the end of the street which takes you all across Edinburgh, although it is also an easy walk into the city centre and to most of the tourist attractions.
There are a couple of steps up to the door of the property, other than that the property is all on one level and it has its own front door. Guests have access to the whole property- it is your home from home for the weekend! We will try and meet you on arrival or we have a key box where we can leave the keys allowing for a bit of flexibility.
