There is a large and varied range of shops, restaurants, bars and boutiques in Forrest Road and the adjacent streets including the The Greyfriar's Bobby, The Grassmarket and The Royal Mile. Both Princes Street and George Street, with their excellent shopping are within a short walk. There is an excellent bus service available just moments away ensuring fast and easy access around the City. Both Waverley and Haymarket Train Station are easily accessible either on foot or via bus (bus stop just outside).

Summary: We loved our stay! The place was perfectly located in Old Town and, with five bedrooms and two bathrooms, a great place for larger groups. The apartment was clean and comfortable and communication with the property manager was a breeze. There are 3 flights of stairs that one has to take to get to the apartment, but Old Town is full of stairs so by the end of our trip, we were used to it. I would definitely stay at this apartment again!
