Positive: The rooms are very nicely decorated and very clean. The availability of Wideye toiletries products (a local brand with shop down the road) was a pleasant surprise. The staff are extremely friendly, and the email with detailed information on the area, local restaurants etc in advance was super helpful, particularly as we were travelling on a bank holiday. The breakfast is superb and a big portion, great if you're planning a hike afterwards, and the slice on cake in the afternoon was amazing.

Negative: Everything was really good. For anyone with mobility issues it may be a challenging place to stay, as there are a lot of stairs due to the historic nature of the building.
